FORGET FROMMER's REVIEW...
THAT review is 3 years old!! The previous "Soup Nazi" temperamental owner is gone, the food is better and the new (they've been there for 3 years) owners are warm., friendly and knowledgeable wonderful people. Jerry and Barbara really treat you like family! A young chef, trained at Johnson and Wales Culinary Institute is turning out fabulous cuisine and it tastes as good..better than it looks. Large portions of great food at reasonable prices make this place a gem. We traveled 40 miles to get there and it was more than worth the trip. I can't wait to come back to their Tuscan wine dinner next week! Their name maybe sassy but they should change the name to classy ! This family run restaurant excels on every level!

I recently traveled to Fort Myers and discovered this gem by running into its Head Chef John Innarelli. Sasse's is off the beaten path and doesn't look like much for the outside, but the food is incredible!! You Don't expect to find great Italian food in Florida, but this is some of the best iv'e ever had. Try Sasse's you won't Regret it !!!!!!
